New Melges 32 Backstay

November 9, 2011

We just completed a project for a Melges 32 customer. It included a few item’s including sheets, control lines and a new backstay. The backstay was a new to us constructionat the bottom end. It is made up of Dyneema SK90 core, Dyneema SK75 cover with a sailmakers thimble at the top end, and a Karver KB10C spliced directly on the bottom end. This eliminated a bunch of hardware on the assembly.
